Kostantis Pistiolis, a multi-instrumentalist hailing from the mountains of Epirus, is a dynamic member of Villagers of Ioannina City. His energetic stage presence, enhanced by his mastery of Greek instruments, adds a unique flair to the band’s performances. Pistiolis also collaborates with other renowned Greek musicians such as Giannis Haroulis and Thanassis Papakonstantinou.

The clarinetist and singer Kostantis Pistiolis comes from Konitsa, Ioannina. He has worked with many well-known musicians such as Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Giannis Charoulis, Villagers of Ioannina City, Chainides or Matoula Zamani. Using a loop station and his expressive singing style, he transfers the sounds of yesterday to today and takes listeners on lively encounters with musical traditions. With the help of the loop station and accompanied by a wide range of wind, string and percussion instruments, Pistiolis presents a diverse program of sound cultures from Asia Minor, Thrace, Macedonia and Epirus. 

Combined with his vocal performance, the sounds condense into an experimental sound mix that effortlessly builds bridges between the past and the present and also fascinates younger generations with traditional music.
