The Athens-based Planet of Zeus has been riffing hard since the turn of the century: the band spends more time touring than sitting at home drinking ouzo. From living rooms to stadiums: Planet of Zeus plays wherever they can plug in their amps. As a result of frequent gigging, the band has developed its own sound, best described as a mix of dirty stoner, old-fashioned hard rock with hints of southern rock. Imagine the Allman Brothers taking on Josh Homme and his mates with their guitarist Stellias wearing his old high school uniform. Due to covid, their last tour was cancelled, so they went into the studio to reinvent themselves. Afterlife, their sixth studio album, is a showdown between the splendour and curse of human existence. Yamas!

Supporting act: Stonus

Originally from Cyprus, the five-piece Stonus has been making the world unsafe from London for a while now with their mix of psychedelic riffs, desert punk and doom rock. Pavlos Demetriou’s guitar solos can be so intense that fire literally bursts from his guitar neck, while the rest of the band keeps things together with heavy drumming, thick bass lines and melodic vocals.
