Support act: Pineapple Road

Indie pop band Pineapple Road has quickly become a household name in their hometown of Leiden. After their stage debut in 2024 and reaching the semi-finals of the Nobel Award, they continued their way up in 2025 with performances at Club 3voor12 Leiden, Paarspop and the Nacht van Ontdekkingen. 3voor12 compared their most recent album, HONEY, to the work of Parcels and praised it for its catchiness and creativity.

Pineapple Road’s typical indie pop sound is also reminiscent of bands such as L’ImpĂ©ratrice and Balthazar. The title track of Honey demonstrates the successful blend of funky guitars and electronic production, a characteristic that recurs in much of their work. On stage, the four-piece band elevates the compositions from their two albums to a new level – accompanied, of course, by their iconic, one-metre-tall disco pineapple.
