When you combine Afro-Caribbean voodoo polyrhythms with bass-weight dub electronics, you will get a collaboration of Chouk Bwa & The Ångströmers. In 2020, they released an album together called Vodou Alé and are coming to Grounds on May 27th their Vodou Alé tour.

Chouk Bwa is a Haitian band with 6 members. The source of this music is the essential elements of Haitian Vodou: rhythms, songs and dances. These are the roots, torn from Africa, secretly replanted in a new land. While the French-Belgian production duo The Ångströmers are more specialised in dark, alternative music. The outcome of both bands is a cheerful yet mysterious performance. A promising show that you cannot miss out!
