On March 31st, Bernadette Pires is releasing her long-awaited debut EP ‘You and I’, and you are invited to celebrate this special occasion with her at Grounds Rotterdam. Bernadette Pires’s unique sound, inspired by legends such as Jill Scott, Etta James, and Aretha Franklin. Her warm voice, infused with the sounds of her Cape Verdean roots, will captivate and move you.

During the creation of her EP, Bernadette Pires was accompanied by none other than jazz singer José James from the US, known for his performances at prestigious jazz festivals around the world, including our very own North Sea Jazz Festival here in Rotterdam. José has supported Bernadette Pires in recording her EP, and together with talented producers Kees Braam and Marlon Pichel crafted the anticipated release ‘You and I.’

On top of this group of artists the night will be accompanied by special guest Kevin Bokomo, who will join the stage to make this special evening even more beautiful.
