Los Melos, a superb salsa line-up, will bring a small part of sun-drenched Colombia to Lab Grounds with their rhythmic percussion set and catchy brass arrangements.

With band members from the Netherlands, Spain, Venezuela, Italy, Colombia and Germany, Los Melos consists of a mishmash of nationalities, yet they sound as Colombian as formations such as Grupo Niche, Grupo Gale and Curao en Salsa. Expect a band that excels with musical virtuosity, impressive vocal outbursts and a sky-high danceability factor.

Percussionist and conguero Nique Quentin released last year A Los Melómanos, an album that brings out the passionate love of music in each of us. It is a true melting pot of cultures, influences and stories from all over the world, just like salsa is! With a place in the Colombian charts and compliments from salsa legend Rubén Blades, the album was also received extremely positively outside the Netherlands. So come sing and dance along on September 12 at Lab Grounds.
